Where your books are stored
A local data folder holds the SQLite database, attached receipts, settings, session key, and recovery data. Use the app's backup command to package a consistent database snapshot and every attachment into one versioned archive with a manifest and SHA-256 hashes. Save that archive somewhere you control.
